Ambassador George was born on 1^st January, 1968, in Ezira, Orumba South, Anambra State, Nigeria. He studied Sociology/Anthropology at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He served at the Embassy of Nigeria, Cotonou, Republic of Benin, Nigeria High Commission, Harare, Zimbabwe, Embassy of Nigeria, Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, and Embassy of Nigeria, Brussels, Belgium.

His Excellency is an experienced career Diplomat with over twenty-seven (27) years of senior international experience with global institutions, as well as governments, diplomatic institutions/embassies, international organizations, and NGOs. He has acquired specialist training in foreign relations development, as well as institutional development, administration and human resources management. He is versatile in conflict resolution, political affairs, governance, social development, peace-building and disaster preparedness. He is a Christian, married and blessed with four (4) Children.
